Perry Ellis might not be one of the first names that springs to mind when you think about great shows at NYFW, but I'm here to tell you a secret *lowers voice to a whisper* it's actually pretty fucking good. We were lucky enough to get a couple shots from the brand's upcoming S/S 16 collection, which debuts this Thursday morning. The looks preview the the breadth the brand is going for—a clear take on the casualization of America mixed with some functional, tech-y gear as well. There's a whole lot of blue, which we can obviously get down with and the list of materials PE sent through that is going into S/S 16 is bananas: printed neoprene, indigo-dyed fabrics, denim and canvas amongst many others. It's sure to be a fire mixture of sportiness and casual, covered in all shades of blue to top it off. Expect bombers, field jackets, windbreakers and wider leg trousers to capitalize on the current trendiness. Very Perry.
