Market Week Recap: Arpenteur Fall/Winter 2015

None

Shoutout to Arpenteur for making basically the same exact thing every single season and yet still keeping someone like me interested. I'm fickle as shit too, fam, so the fact that I still pay attention to Arpenteur says at least a little bit about how the brand is doing its thing and doing its thing well. Basically, if you want a overshirt that can take a little damage, Arpenteur is there for you. A friend I talked to at Capsule mentioned that it would be really good gear if you're a gardener, which is about as true as it gets. Either that or you're Jon Moy. I don't know if Moy owns any Arpenteur, but he really seems like the target demographic. For F/W 15, there are grandfather-like cardigans, crinkly nylon shell jackets, casual work blazers and the signature quarter-zip popover workshirts. Arpenteur's knits are also strong as per usual, with a more naval/marine heft to them than other brands are putting into their sweaters. The standout piece is a wool anorak featuring a proper chest pouch, quarter-zip and hood, which Jon Moy would probably mention is great for storing your emergency loud pack or something.
