This season’s heroes include William Pester, the Hermit of Palm Springs, and Eden Ehbez, who wrote the hit song ‘Nature Boy’.

London-based label YMC is back for Fall/Winter 2023 with a collection that is made up of gentle, oversized silhouettes, natural fabrics and rich, optimistic colours.

Drawing inspiration from the pre-hippie movement in early ‘60s California, the offering is complete with commuter-ready coats, multicoloured knitwear, beach shirts, wool waistcoats, biker jackets, and more. Outwear serves as a collection mainstay, while naive leaf prints and hippie-inspired embroidery are used to inspire self-care and positivity.

Additionally, the pieces from the collection are made from a mix of fabrics, such as recycled fleece, heavy natural Melton wool, vegetable-tanned leather, indigo-dyed wool, lightweight ripstop, ultra-fine poplin and woven cable knit. Natural hues of “Red Ochre”, “Golden Yellow”, “Chocolate Brown”, “Ivy Green” and “Kelp” are used throughout the range, bringing to life both the men’s and women’s selects.
