American fashion brand Woolrich has been designing and manufacturing luxury outerwear since 1830, with each collection building upon and strengthening its strong design heritage. For Fall/Winter 2021, this is no different, with the label offering a cosy lineup of seasonal wardrobe staples.
Driven by a focus on functionality, versatility, and comfort, the Authentic collection takes inspiration from the brand’s 200-year archive and concentrates on reducing the weight of familiar fabrics so to improve movement during expeditions.
Standout pieces include the Drizzle Jacket—which takes inspiration from a 1950s blouson—that has been updated using a recycled cotton polyester twill weave, rounded collar, vintage zippers, and functional strapped pocket at the rear. The historical references continue with the Mountain Parka, an altered-length version of the 70s jacket of the same name.
Water repellent materials feature throughout the mini-collection, alongside a transitional colour palette of blue, beige, black, and green.
