Nottingham-based label Universal Works has launched its new Hotel Deluxe collection for SS23. Launching off the back of founder David Keyte’s frequent trips to India, the line draws its focus on relaxed summer staples, traditional hand-crafted fabrics and twill cottons.

The collection incorporates some of the brand’s best-loved pieces, all of which are reimagined through the Hotel de Luxe lens. Honing in on memories of hazy, late summers, the offering acts as a celebration of textiles, people, colours and is inspired by personal travel photos of “everyday life”, which are incorporated across T-shirts, button-downs and contemporary tailoring.

Notable pieces include the Parachute shirt—a relaxed fitting, v-neck overshirt with military details—in navy and “Olive” twill, and Kyoto Work Jacket in Indigo Hickory Shirting. Some of the items have been constructed with waffle detailing, while additional offerings feature flower graphics or embroidered finishes.

You can cop pieces from the ‘Hotel Deluxe’ collection now via the Universal Works webstore.
