Parisian streetwear boutique The Broken Arm is continuing its long-standing relationship with French footwear brand Salomon with the release of the new gorpecore-style X-ALPAGES GTX sneaker.
Inspired by the mountain hiking universe, the weatherproof silhouette is readied in a referential colour palette based around trail signage. A combination of contrasting suedes feature across the side panels, as well as in a shaggy style across toe boxes, while shades of bold red and pink dress the model’s mudguard.
Boasting a GORETEX lining and embroidered ornamentation, the X-ALPAGES GTX also features a debossed version of Salomon’s moniker on the lateral heels, and is finished with a medal—a lucky charm used during mountain refuges—that avid hikers can carry in their pockets.
The ‘X-ALPAGES GTX’ sneaker is available to cop now via The Broken Arm. A wider release is scheduled to debut on the Salomon webstore on September 13.
