Portland-based footwear label KEEN has partnered with Japanese imprints Loftman and Bamboo Shoots to drop two collaborative interpretations of its iconic UNEEK silhouette.

Inspired by American sneaker culture, both styles combine a patented interlocking cord system with two polyester elastic cords which conform to the foot’s movement for a superior fit, as well as a microfiber heel for a soft hold. Additionally, a bungee-style lace system originated by KEEN makes for easy on-and-off wear, further enhancing comfort and ease.

Outfitted with thin panelled detailing, the “Black/Silver Birch” and “Steel Grey/Drizzle” colourways also take note of the popular retail spaces in the Kanot and Kansai regions of Japan, resulting in a modern reimagining of American-made design through a Japanese lens.

You can cop the UNEEK Bamboo Shoots Edition (Black/Silver Birch) and Loftman Edition (Steel Grey/Drizzle) now from the KEEN webstore
