Emerging Japanese footwear label Flower Mountain have made a name for themselves by crossing street and city styling with rugged-n-ready design, creating versatile silhouettes for all conditions.
Founded in 2016 by Keisuke Ota and Yang Chao, the imprint is inspired by creative ideas and the cycles of nature according to the rhythms of the natural world. Launching with the aim to bring individuals together, the resulting collection has been designed for “a comfortable, relaxing lifestyle” that can be fully enjoyed.
For Spring/Summer 2022, the brand has looked to the idea of harmony and calmness as well as promoting a return to an outdoor lifestyle. Neutral coloured nylon and leather have been used as the capsule’s main materials, as well as breathable mesh which has been used on the uppers to make the whole shoe lighter and ready for the warmer months.
Unleashed in natural earthy tones and uplifting shades of “Ocean Blue”, each sneaker is rounded out with Flower Mountain’s signature naturalistic motifs and additional vibrant detailing.
