Montreal-based skateboarding label Dime has joined forces with ASICS to deliver a new GT-2160 sneaker.
First teased during Paris Fashion Week, the Dime x ASICS GT-2160 sports an understated colourway comprised mostly of neutrals. The vintage-style model features cream-toned overlays and Tiger stripe branding, as well as shades of dark grey on the heel that fade to an off-white iteration at the forefoot. Pops of silver are layered throughout the shoe, highlighting key details, including Dime branding.
“ASICS has an incredible group of collaborative partners, and we are excited to join that list,” said Phil Lavoie and Vincent Tsang of Dime in a press release. “We are excited to introduce our loyal Dime fans to ASICS’ rich brand heritage and look forward to the release of our GT-2160 shoe.”
The Dime x ASICS GT-2160 will release globally on July 22 via asics.com and select retailers.
