Global sneakercare brand Crep Protect has officially been awarded a Guinness World Record for the most number of shoes cleaned simultaneously at any one time.

Taking place at Boxpark in London on November 13, the ground-breaking attempt brought together over 300 sneakerheads determined to etch their name in history, becoming one of the few across the globe to be an official world record-holder.

“It has been a pleasure to have been invited here today to adjudicate this Guinness World Records title attempt,” said Guinness World Record’s Andrew Fanning following the feat. “It was a fantastic event, and having successfully achieved the most people cleaning a pair of trainers/sneakers simultaneously, Crep Protect have officially joined an elite group of title holders.”

As well as taking part in the event, attendees left the venue with a commemorative medal, a myriad of Crep Protect products, and a limited-edition hoodie. What’s more, all cleaned shoes from the record are being donated to ShoeAid UK.
