British outerwear specialist Berghaus is expanding its roster of offerings with a brand new release from its Technical Lifestyle line.

Drawing from the concept of Urban Utility, the seven-piece capsule explores the space between city and nature through a curated offering of minimal, metropolitan coats and sweaters that encapsulate the brand’s technical performance, coupled with a strict, pared-back city aesthetic.

Commissioning online platform and magazine publisher eye_C to shoot the collection, the new offering sees Berghaus’ signature cotton pullovers updated with a lightweight, waterproof GORE-TEX Infinitum fabric, custom drawcord hem, and zipped side vents that allow for an adaptable fit and silhouette. Additionally, the Jesmond smock has been reimagined in a puffed-up and quilted finish, with durable, water-repellent Pertex® 3D Weave fabric and specialist Hydroloft® insulation for optimal protection from harsh weather conditions.

A collection highlight is the 3L Hydroshell® Gosforth jacket, which features a mask that can be linked-up with a built-in cap and an adjustable hood during sudden shifts in environment and weather. Coming in both “Jet Black” and  “Sand Dune”, the silhouette has been designed with a pair of large chest pockets, as well as carefully-considered panelling on its sleeves for a bespoke fit.

The full ‘Technical Lifestyle’ SS23 collection is available now from the Berghaus webstore.
