The Heaton brothers are headed in one direction only, up, as they head full throttle towards the Represent SS20 collection entitled 'Rockfield'.
You'd be hard pressed not to know British fashion brand Represent by now, as they've spent the last couple of years refining their talents and expanding even further afield with every collection. There has been a continued commitment to the maintenance of their founding values of quality and form which has served as the foundations for every seasonal apparel, accessory, and footwear release. With Men's Fashion Weeks well underway, the Mancunian Heaton brothers have once again stepped up to the plate to give consumers a taste of what's to come.
For Spring/Summer 2020 the team moved their studio into a British countryside farmhouse to bring the foundations of the collection to life, emphasising the neutral hues and bold textures. In classic Represent style, there are references to British heritage style throughout, with further development of their camouflage prints across outerwear and pants. The evolution of staple product lines remains a core principle of SS20 with oversized jerseys, fitted denim, relaxed cargos, and military pants contrasted with a series of bold prints, including the highly anticipated Bull Terrier print.
While we've seen a recent drive within the brand's footwear department - which will continue in SS20 - the upcoming release schedule puts a clear focus on accessory offerings with the Represent monogram set to feature heavily. Things are rounded off with a demonstration of the team's commitment everything British as they team up with luxury eyewear brand Cutler and Gross for a reworking of styles from their long-standing archive. The final result is a series of John Lennon inspired circular frames with vintage yellow, emerald green, and smoky brown tint lenses.
