To coincide with the first major UK retrospective of Jean-Michel Basquiat, London-based clothing retailer Browns is launching an exclusive capsule collection called 'Basquiat for Browns'.
Basquiat's artwork and persona are synonymous with New York's seismic art scene of the '80s, and his legacy has survived the test of time. His artwork was bright, wild and, most of all, unique.
In celebration of the artist, Browns' exclusive collection delivers wearable art across 18 pieces, from shoes to sweats. Amongst the apparel, the collection also includes a stylised skate deck.
Unlike Basquiat's pieces, nothing in the collection will set you back over £500, allowing fans of the artist to own a piece at a fraction of the price.
The collection was created with Rome Pays Off and will be available exclusively at Browns from September.
