The notion of slides in museums isn't new. St. Louis' City Museum has a series of awesome slides. Turbine Hall at the Tate Modern was filled with slides back in 2006/7 when Carsten Höller took part in the Unilever Series. Now, Höller's favored sculptural form is providing excitement to visitors of the New Museum in New York City. Spinning from floor 4 to 2, the slide is up and running for the best institional fun since, well, Höller hit London. The slide is just one part of Carsten Höller: Experience, an exhibition full of all types of amazing stuff including an opportunity for skinny dipping (in Psycho Tank).
