Dover Street Market To Open In NYC
The Comme des Garcons-based is coming stateside.

Even though Rei Kawakubo didn't make an appearance in NYC to accept her CFDA Award on Monday, her presence was certainly felt. The Comme des Garcons designer announced Dover Street Market, her multi-brand, Comme-based shop, will be coming to Manhattan. Planning to open in a fashion store-less area of NYC, DSM's success in London and Tokyo means they could open in Jersey and still hold it down.
While NYC has an abundance of great shops, this new addition certainly will be welcomed with open arms. Stay tuned for more info. [New York Times]
