This weekend, Melbourne-based creative DOCG will host an event at Converse’s Renew Labs in Fitzroy to celebrate his latest collection CARTOONS.
The event, hosted by Converse ANZ as part of Converse’s ‘BY YOU’ customisation program, will give fans the opportunity to customise Chuck Taylors with embroidered patches that feature designs and motifs from the latest collection.
DOCG has gained traction over the last few years, garnering acclaim locally and internationally. When it comes to his creative endeavours, he’s tried his hand in almost every area: styling, fashion design, modelling and photography.
The artist is a member of the Converse All Stars creative community, and has been a part of the program since 2022.
The pairing of Converse and DOCG is a perfect match—with DOCG being a multidisciplinary creative who emphasises collaboration in his practice, and the All Star program focusing on collaboration and creative versatility.
Through supporting creatives like DOCG, Converse continues to champion the next generation of creatives—offering members of the All Star community invaluable opportunities to boost their career and nourish their pre-existing talent and creativity.
In addition to the pop-up at Renew Labs, the CARTOONS collection will be showing at Oshi Gallery in Melbourne on Friday June 23, BANNY STORE in Tokyo on July 8 and 9, and ESP STORE in Osaka on July 15 and 16.
