The New York City-based label Cliff has just released its “Season 02” collection. While the brand has built a reputation by releasing strong pieces that include collaborations with artists like Ally Bo or T-shirts with graphics that mesh DJ Screw with Lacan since launching in 2015, the brand’s latest collection marks a new chapter for the brand. Jacquard knit “Team” sweaters playfully remove the “I” from the brand’s logo because there is no “I” in team. Accessories include a garment-dyed corduroy bucket hat featuring the label’s heart logo, an embroidered “Low Logo” beanie, and pairs of jacquard socks. Aside from a long sleeve graphic T-shirt with a “Problem Child” character, a new version of the brand’s popular heavy logo hoodies boasts Canadian fleece, a tri-panel hood, a true-to-size tubular fit, a puff embroidered logo, and is available in custom garment-dyed colorways. Following a pop-up at The Good Company last week, the collection is set to arrive at Concepts in New York with a release party this Thursday before hitting their Boston flagship and online store.

Ain’t Wet is a New York City-based label by the artists Abraham El Makawy and Michael Saunders. The brand is well known within New York City’s music scene for making merch and art for talented acts such as Standing On The Corner, Mike, Navy Blue, Show Me The Body, and more. Like the brand’s name suggests, many of the label’s in-house garments are inspired by New York City’s public transportation. The brand’s latest drop is an “R-62” hoodie, which is named after one of the oldest subway cars still in active service. Anyone who has rode these trains will likely recognize the standout details on this hoodie. An orange and yellow graphic pattern on the back represents how the seats are arranged on the R62. A typical hoodie string is replaced by the emergency brake cord typically found on these old train cars.
