Truth be told, it can be rather difficult to be stylish in the summer—especially with broken ACs and heat waves. So, naturally, some tend to care less about the way they dress. Rules are broken. Mandals are worn. People become confused—maybe delusional, even—and think that leather and 100-degree weather mix well.
Still, there are a few—celebrities included—who have found a way to work around Mother Nature. Kendrick Lamar continued his transformation. Kanye West developed a new uniform. And Robin Thicke proved he's still one of the better dressed white dudes in R&B history. Who else was able to dress for the weather without sacrificing fit and style? Check out The Most Stylish Celebrities of the Summer to see who killed it this past season.

11. Robin Thicke
Few had a bigger summer than Robin Thicke, who's track "Blurred Lines" went number one in 15 countries. But it wasn't just his music that people started taking note of. The man can flat out dress well, whether it's well-tailored suits, T-Shirts and jeans, or leather jackets—most of which he paired with designer sneakers. Admittedly, Thicke's style isn't flashy or "different," but his look is clean, simple, and age-appropriate without being boring.
10. Miguel
It's been almost a year since Miguel released his album Kaleidoscope Dream, but as with many great albums, he's still enjoying an incredible amount of success. The crowd went crazy when he performed at Hot97's Summer Jam. The same thing happened at OVO Fest and award shows. Impressive.
But what's equally impressive about the singer is his style. Though he's made some of the best R&B music we've heard in a while, he looks like he could be part of a Rock n' Roll band, what with his ripped jeans, T-Shirts with wholes, and plethora of leather jackets. His look is different and sets him apart from his peers. Sure, his sense of style may not work for everyone, but Miguel definitely pulls it off.
9. Jason Sudeikis
Jason Sudeikis can throw on a suit as well as any other celebrity, but what really makes him stand out is his casual style. He doesn't try too hard, yet still looks clean and put-together. This isn't anything new, though, since he's been one of the most stylish comedians for a minute now. This summer, we saw eve more of his signature chinos, Air Jordan sneakers, denim shirts, and baseball caps while he was promoting his film, We're the Millers. It definitely looks like Sudeikis has found what works for him.
8. Big Sean
Big Sean's style has evolved quite a bit throughout the years. This summer, though, we saw the Hall of Fame rapper try his hand at the street goth look, rocking brands like Raf Simons and Alexandre Plokhov. And in the last few weeks, he's been leading the resurgence of rap T-Shirts. It's a fairly big change between the two looks, but he's managed to make both work.
7. John Mayer
Have you heard? John Mayer is back with his sixth studio album Paradise Valley. Surely you've heard about it from your sisters, girlfriends, lady friends, and maybe even mothers. We've seen the singer pop up everywhere—rocking Visvim, as per usual. We know his look is different and takes a bit of getting used to, which is why he's probably the least acknowledged of the bunch, when it comes to style. But don't mistake for his unique sense of style for anything but great. No one rocks Visvim quite like this guy. And who else do you know can wear a bandana wrapped around his head like it's the '60s?
6. Jaden Smith
Truth be told, we never really took notice of Jaden Smith's style until the After Earth movie premieres. It was then that we got a glimpse of his minimalistic, street goth look, and realized this kid wasn't playing around. He dropped his wild style for something cleaner, and hasn't looked back since.
5. Justin Timberlake
Remember when Justin had frosted tips and took part in these horrible 'NSYNC outfits? Well, you can hardly recognize the singer now, as those days are long gone. This summer, JT proved that his style transformation wasn't just a fluke. He continued to rock his "suit and tie" looks, but also adopted a monochromatic palette, wearing tons of black and white shirts on the Legends of the Summer tour, at other events, and out casually. We saw him wear Alexander Wang, Comme des Garçons, and more. Guess it's true what they say, "With age does come wisdom." Now, if only we can get him to stop wearing fedoras like it's still 2002.
4. A$AP Rocky
We know what you're thinking, "A$AP Rocky again?" But see, love him or hate him, there's no denying the guy can dress. This past weekend, he killed it in a head-to-toe Dior Homme look from the fall/winter 2013 collection at this year's MTV VMAs. And all summer, he's been rocking Hood By Air, custom Kokon to Zai, Visvim, and even the Raf Simons x adidas sneakers way before anyone else. He's definitely one of the most stylish rappers in the game right now, and you should know because you yourself have (probably) wondered what brand he's wearing at one point or another.
3. Kendrick Lamar
In a matter of months, Kendrick Lamar went from a great lyricist with only mediocre style to still a great rapper but now also one of the most stylish celebrities. The good kid we once knew to strictly wear hoodies, started rocking designer clothes and even tried his hands at the street goth look, and a few other trends we may have never thought he would. Since obliterating the game with his verse on "Control", though, he has only worn "(white) T-Shirts and Nike Cortez." It'll be interesting to see how long he'll rock the same look. Will he pull a Jay Z and wear it for a whole year straight?
2. Kanye West
Kanye West may be a dad now, but not much has changed, style-wise anyway. He's still the same stylish Yeezy, who might we add had the Internets in shambles with the release of his A.P.C. collection. Perhaps the only difference is that he's found a new uniform, one that strays from all the leather he's been wearing and more along the lines of denim shirts and jackets, Visvim sneakers, and long tees. More recently, he's also been rocking beaded necklaces instead of his long gold chains.
1. Pharrell
Pharrell has consistently been one of the most stylish celebrities, be it during his Skateboard P days or to his more recently head-to-toe Lanvin looks. And he pulls off all this while giving little or no attention to trends or what anyone else is wearing. He'll roll up his jeans all the way to his knees if he wants to. He'll wear a sequined Saint Laurent blazer if he feels like it, as he and Daft Punk have been doing all summer. He'll even wear the same kind of outfit again and again if he wishes.
