The Washington Ballet recently released a video that exhibits some of ballet’s most difficult maneuvers in slow motion. The film features dancers Maki Onuki, Andile Ndlovu, Chong Sun, Corey Landolt, Francesca Dugarte, and Luis R. Torress performing gravity-defying grand jetés, poised pirouettes, and seemingly-effortless lifts. Following the demonstration of each challenging move, the dancers explain how it's performed and what makes each one so tricky.
