Norwegian photographer Vilde Rolfsen’s ongoing series “Plastic Bag Landscape” is an experiment in perspective. Employing discarded plastic bags as her primary medium, the artist positions the crinkly material in various ways to elicit the look of varied landscapes. As an added element, she toys with lighting and colored backgrounds to make it seem as if the landscapes are being viewed at different points during the day. Some look like they’ve been captured at dawn, while others seem to be fading into twilight, but all of them make you want to escape into Rolfsen's plastic worlds.
