There's no denying that AllSaints is making big moves.

Within the last year, AllSaints has expanded its empire into South Korea, the U.S., Canada, and the Netherlands. In celebration of that achievement, the brand has decided to employ a different type of runway that better reflects its global expansion: an aviation runway.

“Restless global momentum inspires and propels us, the Spring 15 collection challenges our own interpretation of freedom and flight,” says Wil Beedle, AllSaints’ creative director.

Fittingly titled Runway, this presentation adheres to the dark, tailored aesthetic that AllSaints is known for. The selection of men’s apparel may seem pretty standard at first glance, but upon closer examination, it’s clear nothing is what it seems.

Mixing elements from distinct genres in menswear, such as military-inspired, biker, punk, and island lifestyle, the Spring 2015 line delivers somewhat of a subversive interpretation of staple garments. Military jackets are worn as aloha shirts, tropical floral jackets become blazer, brogues are finished with zippers instead of laces, and the brand’s iconic leather biker jacket is reworked with lightweight suede.

It’s a pretty damn clever, and highly effective.

Take a look at the presentation below, and be sure to keep your eye out for the collection’s official release at AllSaints online store and select retailers.
