There was plenty of social media chatter during the Kanye West x Adidas fashion show yesterday, but one of the more tweeted and talked-about moments wasn't even about the clothes, or the shoes, or the new music that debuted. It was the moment when North West started crying and had to be taken backstage as to not interrupt the presentation. Now, we're getting an explanation as to why she was so upset, straight from her famous father himself.
After the show, Kanye reportedly offered the following as explanation when asked about why she was crying: "Maybe she was just scared for her daddy. She just wanted people to stop being mean to her daddy. Because she knows that her daddy loves the world and just wants to make it a more beautiful place."
Judging by the initial positive reactions to the collection, and with the first round release of Yeezy Boosts already claimed, it looks like North doesn't have anything to be scared about.
