UNIONMADE describes this ts(s) jacket as "seriously effective," which struck me as an odd way of describing a jacket. I don't know about a jacket being "seriously effective," but I guess for a G bar you deserve a jacket that takes its job deadly seriously. This jacket is made with a denim outer and a quilted down liner—both true hallmarks of a serious jacket. I can't really judge copywriters for odd turns of phrases when describing the fifteenth jacket they saw that day. I mean, I don't even use odd turns of phrases, I just describe the copywriting for a product and—BOOM—post written. NOW THAT'S SERIOUSLY EFFECTIVE.
