Normcore: it's dumb! It's the thing that only would have existed in the age where a ridiculous notion brings the crazies and the angry out of the wood work. Even a week after the original New York Magazine article describing the idea sent the Internet into all forms of backlash (memes, ridicule, defense, and eventual re-definition), it's still flooding our timelines and feeds. So why not just have fun with something that has lasted way past the expiration date it deserves. Since we try not to take this shit too seriously, allow us to present The Norm Corps: Complex Staff Members Show Off Their Most Normcore Normcore.

"I thought this was a photo shoot for most stylish men in the office. Is this going to go up on Four Pins? Can you Photoshop me to make me more muscular or no?"

"I tried normcore today because I usually wear all black, and all I attract is vampires. Since going norm, I've attracted several handsome women who fancy dungarees over jeggings."

"Normcore? That's the new fashion hipster shit? My fucking head hurts."

"People are acting like #normcore is some sort of new trend, but mate are you stupid, or nah? Birdman was all up on that before you were even on Twitter, and more recently, Dev Hynes has been rocking normcore for at least 5 years. Me? I'm just over here trying to keep my ankles warm by tucking my jeans into my socks and my plaid shirt into my jeans."

"Normcore's soooo over. I got a connect in Utah that's helping me make Mormcore happen."

"The 'young' people I work with like to make fun of me behind my back because I'm exceedingly tall and well-hung and sometimes have problems holding my farts, but now that my entire fashion raisin-dee-ett-ruh is, like, a style phenomenon, I have just one question: Who. Is. Laughing. Now? (You little twits.)"
