Even though it's the middle of summer, it is never too early to start thinking about your winter wardrobe and Korean label Plac has the tailored basics you'll need for the coming cold weather.

The new collection offers minimalist staples like sweaters, denim, and trousers, in addition to a large selection of outerwear, which includes cropped bomber jackets, down parkas, and hooded duffels.

The selection features a color palette inspired by artist Yves Klein's untitled blue and fire paintings, with deep reds, blues and greens that contrast with black and white. Plac also takes cues from Jason Martin's "Painting as Sculpture" exhibition, by giving the sleek basics a twist by using unexpected fabrics and classic patterns like stripes and dots, and zipper detailing.

Check out the rest of the lookbook images below and shop the collection on Plac's webstore in the coming months.
