It may seem like an odd idea for Canada Goose to partner with Toronto Blue Jays right fielder José Bautista, but the two are releasing a new limited edition jacket. And by taking a closer look, you can see the collaboration has worked out well.
The outerwear, designed to suit Bautista’s active lifestyle, is notably sleek-fitting. Pairing a classic silhouette with lightweight materials and soft shell side-panels, the jacket delivers warmth as well as flexibility. Featuring mixed fabrics on the arms and body in a refined black and grey herringbone colourway, this jacket is a perfect companion for the global traveler – offering added functionality with the ability to easily fold into a travel pillow. Yes this just might be the most expensive travel pillow ever made. But it is also a jacket.
As an hommage to the Blue Jay player’s number 19, the José Bautista x Canada Goose jacket ($995 USD) will be available in a very limited run of just 190 units. The jacket goes on sale August 12 in-store at Harry Rosen and online. Each jacket is proudly made in Canada and individually numbered.
