Runway: 3.1 Phillip Lim Spring/Summer 2012 Collection

3.1 Phillip Lim made "grunge" come back with the Spring/Summer 2012 collection. Creating a line of clothing this season for the younger male, Lim gained inspiration from the "whatever works" attitude of the skate punks in California. The collection is extremely edgy and simultaneously fancy—check out the silk trench. We especially like the unique colors and dye-dipped technique used on staple items like denim jackets and button-downs.
