Diesel fans now have reason to unite and rejoice. The brand's largest Planet store has just opened in Midtown New York, more specifically at 685 Fifth Avenue on the corner of 54th Street. The massive 20,000 square foot, 3-level location will showcase both Diesel and Diesel Black Gold Collections.
The store features everything from 500 denim styles to bags, footwear, leather goods, jewelry, watches, shades and fragrances. As a bonus, customers will have the option of customizing the inside waistband of denim purchases with their name, along with using services like on-site tailoring, Wi-Fi, a messenger service, and "Power Shopper," where customers can recharge their mobile phones...
"It's the dream of each brand to open such an amazing store on Fifth Avenue! It represents one of the greatest goals for Diesel, the accomplishment of a 30-year dream as well as the beginning of a new adventure; this street is the most important shopping window of the world that gets me excited every time I come to New York," says Renzo Rosso, President of Diesel.
Diesel currently operates 45 stores in the US and with plans to open five to eight more locations by the end of 2009. Clearly, the Italian clothing company's stock is on the rise. Check out more images of the store below.
