Between talk about the latest styles and the newest trends during New York Fashion Week, there's one topic we preferred to mull over: models. It was an assembly line of tall and stunning women walking around the city this week, but only a few stand out as the breakout stars of the runway this year. These are the young, hot ladies we'll still be talking about now that the tents at Lincoln Center have been taken down. Get familiar.
Alyonna Subbotina

With her haunting blue eyes and heavenly blond hair, it’s no wonder that Subbotina made her name known at D&G earlier this year. We’ll have years to marvel at her evolution as a model, but for now, just amuse yourself with her flawless 5’10’’ frame.
Jess Gold

Maybe you can’t pronounce half of the designers showing collections, but you should be familiar with Jess Gold. She's super young, and with that body and those cheek bones, she'll be around for a while.
Soujourner Morrell

Morrell is wanted by fashion’s most influential designers, but they have to compete with one thing: school. Between her modeling gigs, Morrell is known for being the first female accepted into the Spanish Riding School in Austria. Riding school, bro.
Saskia Da Brauw

Career Highlight: She walked the Givenchy menswear show in Paris in January 2011.
Brauw isn’t exactly “new” to modeling. She was discovered at 16, but gave up the fame for her studies in the visual arts. She worked with kids, took up baking, and waitressed before modeling became her focus again. When you're hot, it's never too late.
Beegee Margenyte

Beegee says that when she first wakes up, she “opens her eyes and smiles” so she can bring happiness to the rest of her day. Easy enough when your job is looking pretty. We're available for coffee runs if she decides to switch up her routine.
Codie Young

Career Highlight: She opened the Marni show in Milan in February 2011.
What if you see a model, fall in love, and then she disappears into obscurity? It happens, but it won't with Codie, who updates a personal blog in between seasons. Crisis averted.

We have NYFW to thank for shedding some well-deserved light on Danni Li. She was a relatively unknown model until the world’s top designers decided to recruit her for this year's runway presentation. Now she's one of the hottest on our radar.

The rising star is every designer's favorite right now. Her body works for whatever look they're going for, and for normal guys like us who think she just looks gorgeous. Count on her name being equally recognizable outside of fashion sets this time next year.
Jasmine Tookes

Career highlight: She was a finalist in a competition to be the new face of Sports Illustrated's Swimsuit Edition.
Tookes admits that her favorite feature is her lips, leading us to believe that we have a lot in common with her. After being discovered while shopping with her mom in 2005, Tookes has moved on to GAP campaigns and Italian Vogue shoots. We can't wait to see more of her in seasons to come.
