Virgil Abloh's Off-White label has announced a collaboration with Moncler, the French-Italian brand best known for creating the red jacket Drake wore in his "Hotline Bling" music video.

The collection, titled Moncler O, is inspired by fishermen set in the northern seas and the lost-at-sea vibes we're catching likely represent where Abloh wishes he could be right now. Aside from the recent "scuffle" he was involved in at Collette, Abloh has been in the eye of a storm of work. He just released his first-ever coffee table book on top of presenting his spring/summer 2017 runway show in Paris over the weekend.

None of this has stopped Abloh from putting together a collection that seamlessly combines his nose for designs and color that speak to the kids with his ability to bring streetwear sensibilities to luxury garments, like Moncler's. "The best part of working on the Moncler collaboration was being able to work with a different range of fabrics and the technical ability to make garments," Abloh told GQ.

The collection is made up of anoraks, jackets, parkas, puffer coats, vests, and an absolutely incredible sherpa half-zip—and most of the pieces features Off-White's signature diagonal stripes. Although the official source of influence is fisherman, Alboh tweeted that the collection owes its design to "every rap video with Nautica in it."

🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾✨ hahaha! every rap video with Nautica in it designed it. I just held the pencil ✍🏾®

Let's not forget that Nautica had a brief glory period in the '90s when rappers were rocking the brand's yachtwear alongside their Tommy Hilfiger and Polo looks.

The first Moncler O collection will be available in August. And we say first because this is only the beginning of a multi-season partnership between Abloh and Moncler.
