Presidential Candidate Deez Nuts' Dad Goes Balls Out on Imitators for Creating Counterfeit 'Deez Nuts' Merch

Last week, a ballsy company pretending to be part of Deez Nuts' campaign launched what was posed as official merchandise from the presidential candidate. However, the father of Deez Nuts, a moniker taken on by 15-year-old Iowan Brady Oldson, quickly shut down the imitators noting that neither he nor his son had launched any merchandise. So, we reached out Deez Nuts' dad, Mark Olson, to get the scoop on the presidential candidate's official merchandise.

First, and most importantly, if you're a supporter of Deez Nuts, you can finally get your hands on some official merchandise. You can support the 15-year-old's quest to be president by picking up a recently launched and hilarious official T-shirt. Rather than putting the proceeds towards building a bigger campaign, all profits made off the shirts will go to charity, Olson's father says.

Given the pure intentions of his son's campaign—just look at the fact that the T-shirt's sales are going to charity when most 15-years-old would probably put the extra cash anywhere else—Mark was upset by the imitators. "It frustrates me that so many people are trying to profit from a 15 year old," Mark told Complex over e-mail. "The worst part is that some of the merchandise is very distasteful." While other candidates have tried to wring as many dollars out of supporters as they can with ridiculous merchandise, like spatulas and skins for your Beats headphones, Deez Nuts will only sell T-shirts. The one available now features "Deez Nuts for President 2016" on the front and "Balls In Your Court America" on the back. Mark insists that Deez Nuts' campaign is simply about "good clean fun," which he believes is the reason it has resonated with so many people.
