Dude Steals $5K Worth of Designer Clothes From His Roommate, Donates Them All to Goodwill

A modern day Robin Hood.

A 35-year-old man who was renting out a living room in Harlem from Kenneth Butler realized he was missing more than $5,000 worth of designer clothes earlier this month. According to DNAinfo, Butler has since been charged with grand larceny for stealing the goods, but what he did with the clothes is where this gets really bizarre.

Butler told authorities that he took all the pieces and donated them to Goodwill. Items included in the haul are two $750 Calvin Klein suits, two blue fur winter coats worth $1,000, a Louis Vuitton belt worth $350, and a $500 necklace. Butler will face the charges in court in October of this year.

For now, we'd recommend getting to Harlem to see if there's any cheap designer clothing you can score.
