This summer, Calvin Klein announced it was designing a capsule collection exclusively for Dover Street Market to coincide with the debut of its Fall 2014 collection in the U.S. After months of waiting, we are finally getting a look at the line.
The capsule collection will include a bomber jacket, hooded sweater, and a sweatshirt that “will complement [DSM’s] current assortment,” said Calvin Klein creative director Italo Zucchelli. The pieces feature graphics, like the names of some of its most iconic fragrances—"Obsession" and "Escape"—just as the label's Fall/Winter 2014 collection did. According to Zucchelli, the reason for the throwback is to highlight the significance of the words to the Calvin Klein, saying that they're "iconic" and "relatable fragrances" and "so defining of the world today."
The collection will be available at Dover Street Market New York on Oct 9.
