Nature and conservation have been central to ZEGNA’s design philosophy since its founder purchased land at the foothills of the alps in Piedmont and began planting trees over a century ago. Now a 100km free nature reserve named Oasi Zegna, that land continues to inspire the house, as well as acting as common ground for a progressive partnership with Canadian trail running shoe brand norda™ for the latest ZEGNA Outdoor Collection.
Designed with the mantra of “ZEGNA through the eyes of norda™,” the collection draws on mutual values of design quality and innovation for a line of shoes and apparel inspired by the trails in Oasi Zegna. Much of the collection incorporates bio-based Dyneema®, an ultralight, extra-strong and water-resistant fabric. Dyneema® is also primarily manufactured using renewable energy sources, dovetailing with the collaboration’s goals of using the finest materials and leaving the lightest footprint possible.

As ZEGNA’s partner in this collection, norda™ has also added the Oasi Zegna’s trails to its community-driving directory of the world’s best running locations.
