A lot of people have to commute to and from work every day and most of the time it sucks. You can listen to music, read a book, or stare at people the entire time, but after a while you just want it to be over. UK-based illustrator Joe Butcher found a fun way to keep himself busy and entertained, and it's something that anyone with a pen and some paper can do too.
Butcher started to draw cartoon characters to scraps of paper and Post-It Notes, taking photos with the artwork covering the faces of his fellow commuters. Some of Butcher's drawings are made with specific commuters in mind (like the Incredible Hulk and the guy with the green bubble jacket), but they could be mixed and matched and they would still be awesome.
