Are you familiar with @AMenswearBlog? You should be. We’re Twitter’s menswearest menswear curators of distinction, gathering all the edgiest stuff that you probably don’t know about yet and telling you about it in 140 characters. We’re from Britain too, so we know how to do pocket squares and are all reformed football hooligans. Shit like that. Here are our predictions for the future of #menswear blogging.
A Menswear Blog is a curated selection of curated menswear. Curated. Follow them on Twitter here.

More Formal Greetings
Folks, Chaps, Sirs and Misters, 2014 is the year of the uncomfortably formal greeting. Whether you are going to the shop for some milk or buying a ludicrously expensive jacket, make sure you stay #menswear by addressing people you have known all your life in a pompous and grandiose manner. Don’t worry about the female equivalents, as after a while of doing this you won’t be speaking to girls any more. Trust us.

Lots More Stuff About Kanye Being Insane
Had enough Yeezy in 2013? ‘Course you haven’t! 2014 will mark the year that Kanye West goes fully insane. Alongside the Adidas collaboration, expect interviews conducted by exclusively quoting his own lyrics, an inevitable road rage incident and a controversial stint as creative consultant at some long forgotten streetwear brand. Your favorite #menswear bloggers will be there first, bringing you all your Mr. West news from the comfort of their back bedrooms.

Everyone Will Move To Japan
Have you seen Japan? We have. It’s on the Internet and in magazines. They’ve got loads and loads of really good T-shirts and their state employees get selvage denim as part of their weekly wages. In 2014, Inventory will set up a charitable initiative to repatriate #menswear bloggers to their spiritual home. Funded by Nick Wooster and that old man who rides his bike everywhere whilst wearing tweed, the scheme will bestow each blogger with a moped, a studio apartment in Tokyo’s menswearest district and $4,000 dollars worth of denim and artisanal coffee vouchers.

We’ll Find Out That Steve McQueen Wore Supreme Once
You better discover that deceased Hollywooder Steve McQueen wore your brand once, or you might as well kiss goodbye to that invite to Pitti. Next year will herald a cavalcade of obscure brands claiming that everyone’s favorite, miserable actor once wore their garments. Scratched grainy photographs will surface, lookbooks will be based around them and everyone will buy a motorbike that they can’t ride or afford.

Something About Rick Owens, Hedi Slimane And Bands That Nobody Cares About Outside Of Manhattan
Has everyone forgotten about CBGB, The Ramones and all that? Good. Lets do loads of photos of sickly looking kids in black and white. Leather. Vests. Black T-shirts. Is Macauley Culkin doing anything? If not, lets get him in the background of a couple of them. Terry Richardson’s people say he’s available. What is that band called? The ones who have all got trustfunds, but are burdened with massive drug debts? Get them as the centerpiece. Hedi Slimane and Rick Owens are up for it. This is going to blow people's minds. *sniffles*

We’ll Bring Heritage Back...Again
We miss Heritage. We weren’t quite done with it. There are plenty more fields out there, plenty more meadows to stand in and look all windswept and interesting, whilst wearing a smock or some shit. If we’re feeling really edgy we’ll hang some boots up in an industrial setting. It’s all going to be British made as well, so remortgage your house in anticipation. Heritage will come full circle and we’ll reach Heritage Inception. Free & Easy will stage a fully-armed re-enactment of The American Civil War, shot by Antony Crook.
