Moncler Genius Unveils More Space Vibes in Latest 5 Moncler Craig Green Collection at Kith NY

Another winter is upon us and the Moncler Genius project is back for the third installment with British designer Craig Green headlining. Stunting on his fellow Moncler Genius compadres, the menswear designer didn't show up empty-handed providing an introspective inquiry into the protective, yet lightweight qualities of down-filling in the collection dubbed 5 Moncler Craig Green. In doing so, the creative devises a collection of space-ready puffer silhouettes that exist in between art and reality.

Experimenting with angular additions, Green proposes featherweight zip-up jackets with padded hoods, parkas, and base layers made from a sum of light modules that can be folded, flattened and packed.  Each outerwear piece can be separated and condensed into smaller cubes. Meeting the Genius challenge with genius moves, Green uses special zippers, clutch for extracting air as they are being closed, and designs a new structure for down panels (adding a a 2.5cm gap in-between every single pillow to be precise) so they act as a hinge so garments can be folded. The functional range comes in an extensive palette so you can match your sneaker rotation.
