adidas Originals and Foot Locker are uniting five of the most exciting rappers from across Europe for the launch of UNheard, a new intiative to expose and empower upcoming talents who want to bring positive change to the world we live in – and to celebrate, the Three Stripes are bringing back an extremely limited run of the CHILE 62 tracksuit.

15 years after it first asserted itself as a street style essential, 500 CHILE 62 tracksuits will be available from October 4th in five key Foot Locker stores throughout Europe: Paris Champs Elysees, London Marble Arch, Milan Bueno Aires, Amsterdam Kalverstraat and Berlin Alexanderplatz. The CHILE 62 tracksuit will also drop in limited numbers online at Foot Locker Europe at 9am on October 4th.

The tracksuit was a staple in hip-hop culture and it's a perfect drop to complement UNheard, which is built upon the unifying power of music and the merger of 'old school' and 'new school' hip-hop as a vehicle for expressing ideas, ideals, and opinions that can change the world.

As part of UNheard, artists from The Netherlands, UK, France, Germany and Italy have each thrown down tracks that have been lyrically reinterpreted by their foreign peers. For example, a Dutch hip-hop track will get a German translation, or an Italian beat gets a French lyrical makeover. The ambition is for this project to demonstrate how foreign communities are able to relate to each other, creating a more unified global society that improve the world through creativity and meaningful music.

Stay tuned for weekly lyrical switch ups by Dark Pyrex (Italy), Ahzumjot (Germany), Yung Nnelg (Netherlands), Greentea Peng (UK) & Dinos (France). As an UNheard released track, you will discover the crunchy 808 slow jam ‘Ski Mask’ by Parisian rapper, Dinos. Replacing his nonchalant French raps, with the soulful voice of South London’s Greentea Peng, UNheard’s first release tees up a slew of artistic pairings that are as unusual as they are exceptional.

500 original CHILE 62 tracksuits will be available from October 4th in five key Foot Locker Stores: Paris Champs Elysees, London Marble Arch, Milan Bueno Aires, Amsterdam Kalverstraat, Berlin Alexanderplatz, and on footlocker.eu.
