Represent are keeping their foot firmly on the gas as they follow up their most recent SS19 menswear drops with an explosive take on womenswear.

Despite only being a quarter of the way through the year, Represent have stayed firmly in the spotlight and they consistently deliver, juggling high-rising menswear deliveries with new ventures into the world of womenswear. Their initial womenswear delivery dropped as part of FW19 and provided a heritage-focused look at what the Heaton boys and their team had to offer on the other end of the spectrum, and they did not disappoint.

Now, launching as a continuation of this successful outing, Spring/Summer 19 furthers the scope and provides an introspective look at the Mancunian roots of the brand. The team harkens back to the 90s as a source of inspiration, looking specifically at the musical contributions of the decade and the ways in which they influenced the style of the time, and continue to do so today.

Apparel and accessory lines synonymous with counter-culture, from the likes of the tracksuit and cross-body bag, play a pivotal role within the collection, serving as both a base and finisher for full looks. Where the collection exceeds itself is one and two-piece looks, from close-fitting boiler suits to cropped hoodies with matching pants. Silhouette has played an important role throughout the brand's collections and this design focus reigns true for SS19 women's, with oversized vintage sportswear-inspired silhouettes features throughout. In separating men's and womenswear while retaining the overall brand DNA, cropping has been carefully interjected throughout tops, sweats, and shorts to suit the seasons transitional period.
