Folk expresses their love for colour with a playful collaboration alongside artist Alfie Kungu.

As we step into the warmer part of the year, Folk has teamed up with Alfie Kungu to deliver a bold Spring/Summer 19 collection.
Collectors put's the London-based painter Alfie Kungu at the forefront of design, as staple apparel and accessory lines of Folk are given new life through his extravagant use of print and texture. Extending across shirting, shorts, tees, and hats, the bold colour palette mixes blues, greens, and purples on light and dark bases for an instant eye catching aesthetic.
Speaking on the inspirations and colour application within the collection, Alfie said: "This collection was predominantly inspired by my expressive application of paint and the movement that’s in my work. In terms of palette, we decided to use colours and tones that felt fresh and dynamic such as the light green and also the plum, but we also wanted to use more muted shades within the pieces to strike the right balance."
