Cardi B and Offset’s Daughter Kulture Might Be Getting Her Own Clothing Line

Cardi and Offset have reportedly filed to trademark their one-month-old daughter's name. The application covers music recordings, novelty items, and video games, as well as clothing, footwear, and accessories.

Just like her mother, Kulture Kiari Cephus is already making money moves.

According to documents obtained by The Blast, Cardi B and Offset have filed to trademark the nearly one-month-old daughter’s name for merchandising of clothing, footwear, and accessories. The application was submitted Aug. 2 under Sallie Smith LLC, a company registered to Offset. It’s unclear if the hip-hop couple has any immediate plans to release a Kulture clothing line, or if they’re simply setting up their first born’s future success.

The Blast points out that the potential trademark would also cover the use of Kulture’s name in musical recordings, motion pictures, and novelty items, as well as “online video games, dance events by a recording artist, and fan clubs.” So, if the newborn does decide to follow in her parents’ footsteps, she’ll have her bases covered.

Cardi gave birth to Kulture on July 10, months after she and Offset secretly got married. Shortly after they welcomed their baby girl, Cardi announced she was backing out of Bruno Mar’s 24K Magic Tour. The Invasion of Privacy rapper was expected to appear on the tour’s North American leg, which kicks off next month, but decided she needed more time to recover.

“I thought that after giving birth to my daughter that six weeks would be enough time for me to recover mentally and physically,” she wrote on Instagram. “I also thought that I'd be able to bring [Kulture] with me on tour, but I think I underestimated this whole mommy thing […] I'm not ready to leave my baby behind since the doctors explained its not healthy for her to be on the road.”

Though she won’t appear on the 24K Magic Tour, Cardi will headline this year’s Mala Luna festival in San Antonio and the Global Citizen Fest in NYC.
