Fresh off their Best New Menswear Designers in America nod, The Hill-Side just released the latest lookbook featuring their F/W 15 collection and an announcement of a new sub-brand, The Hill-Side Mills, that produces domestically grown and woven custom textiles all done on shuttle looms in Pennsylvania. For this season, The Hill-Side Mills produced three selvedge fabrics featuring a gradient stripe pattern inspired by a vintage Japanese design made to represent a waterfall. All of that being said, I'm really feeling the brown duck canvas jacket. Like, a lot. I want to wear that really casually with some destroyed, fucked up jeans and white Reeboks while I slouch in my seat at the bar section of a cool new restaurant that's so crowded it only takes reservations so peasants like me are forced to eat at the bar. At least I'll be kitted like a prince.
