Nasir Sobhani is known as The Streets Barber. He's 26-years-old and spent most of his life traveling around the world. These days, he's posted up in Melbourne, Australia where he works as a professional barber six days a week. Okay, sure, that in and of itself isn't all that extraordinary, but on that one day a week he has off? He spends it helping the homeless people around the city get fresh, offering them free haircuts and shaves.

The subject of a recent short documentary, which you can see above, Sobhani gives you the low down on his life, tatted up appearance and cuts the hair of a few homeless clients, completely transforming their look. You can see his work on his Instagram where he posts before and after photos along with in-depth stories about the people he meets. We've already heard stories about people who go around New York donating sneakers to the homeless and this just goes to show you how vital and humanizing something as small as a pair of shoes or a haircut can be for some and how much that can impact the recipient's life through such simple means. Damn, and here I am, just sitting here blogging about it. It me, completely worthless citizen of the world.
