It first was reported last month that the once coveted brand Band of Outsiders would be folding after a 10 year run. The Los Angeles-based label attracted a cult following that included several celebrities after creating classic prep styles with an edge.

After the news broke, the brand confirmed its sad fate by announcing that it would be offering a huge sale before closing its NYC storefront. In honor of its end of days, BofO has taken to Instagram to reminisce by posting old photos and videos that remind us how much the rebellious prep label will be missed.

Scott Sternberg, the founder of the brand, thanked his loyal fans via an Instagram caption, “The proverbial Fat Lady sings, at least for me and my time here at Band. I can't really comment on the future of the brand as that's out of my hands at this point, but I do want to say thanks to all of the Band fans out there who embraced and supported our brand and clothes over the years, and my employees and partners who dedicated so much energy and enthusiasm. The store should be open for at least another week so, like, go buy something cute. And enjoy it. That was the whole point of this thing after all.”

While Sternberg left the future of the brand somewhat open, it is clear that his time at Band of Outsiders is over.
