Online shopping is the fucking tits, man. Can anyone argue with that statement? Didn't think so. There is nothing in the world better than ordering some egregiously expensive jawnz online that you've never tried on in real life, receiving it (specifically at work so you can flex on your colleagues) and having it fit perfectly. And there's also no better time in history for online shopping than right fucking now. For all the great spots to order from online, Farfetch is the one that has the model to CRUSH everyone else, as The Business of Fashion clearly lays out.

If you're unfamiliar with Farfetch, here's the deal: It's fundamentally different than most of the spots your order from online, which carry stock and ship from their warehouses. See, the 'Fetch provides a platform for third party shops and brands to manage items for shoppers to purchase, but carries no actual stock itself. Instead of a few enormous warehouses filled to the brim with inventory that may or may not actually sell, the "warehouses" are the stores around the world that funnel their gear through Farfetch. Shoppers can order from a small boutique using Farfetch as a direct vessel of sorts, but they can also reserve the piece they want and go pick it up in person too.

Of course, Farfetch gets a cut of those sales it facilitates—around 25%—and it reportedly moved $350 million worth of merchandise in 2014 alone. So, while you are supporting a giant, you're also supporting small businesses. Talk about a win-win situation. Meanwhile, Farfetch is growing larger and larger by the day, ready to completely eviscerate the competition. Takeover initiated.
