There’s no doubt that teenagers have always dominated the realm of street style—serving as bastions of self-expression through accessible clothing and distinguished taste.

Never fearing to think outside of the box or take risks, the youth culture was once an uncredited source of inspiration for some of the world’s most celebrated brands and designers. But that all changed once social media began to surge, with sites like Instagram and Tumblr providing teens a global platform to share their personal style.

Inspired by this recent change, Profound Aesthetic has embarked on a new editorial project that features some of the world’s youngest fashion influencers. Beginning in New York City, the first installment of the series, titled "Young Kings of Soho,” showcases NYC native Luka Sabbat wearing Profound Aesthetic's Fall 2014 Across a Distant Sky Collection.

Having been previously featured in publications like Vogue and VFiles, Luka has made a name for himself as one of the leading teen style icons—making him the perfect model for the brand’s sportswear-inspired threads.

Items like patch bomber jackets, elongated tees, cargo vests, and kangaroo pouch pullovers are all featured in the first editorial, along with clothing by Fear of God, Rick Owens, and A.P.C.

Check out images from the "Young Kings of Soho” shoot below. And keep your eye out for future installments, which will feature teens from major U.S. cities as well as London and Japan.
