Here for your daily flex are these $1,300 Yang Li cutaway single monk stompers. We know double monks are so 200 and late and you're a trendsetter, so you can't be bothered with some old shit. You're decided #TeamEarly. But single monks were denied their moment in the sun. A few good models showed up toward the tail end of the #menswear moment, but it's too late now and we ain't ever going back. However, if you're in the business of wearing nice shoes on the regular, you can't stunt any harder than this absurd take on a classic shoe. As you might assume, here at HQ it's sneakers 'til death, but we can still appreciate a well-crafted leather dress shoe with a dope last and sole that was clearly ripped straight off of Funkmaster Flex's favorite pair of Lugz. Not to mention the whole shoe is murdered out—black stitching, black sole, black hardware. In The Business™, they call those details "tonal." Wait, one second, sorry, I need a moment to suppress this super random work boner. Um, it's not going away. Yeah, I think we're done here.
