Brian Espiritu, the creative mind behind streetwear label The Legends League, has released his latest illustration series entitled, "The Legends League Reimagines The Supers In Outfitgrid".
The series of illustrations depicts modern day outfits for five classic superheroes. Superman, Batman, Spiderman, Wolverine, and Ironman all have their typical 'fits illustrated in a hand drawn comic style as contributors to the popular #OUTFITGRID hashtag on Instagram.
Each hero's outfit plays on popular streetwear trends while making references back to their character.
Superman's Diamond Supply Co. tee mimics the shape of his "S" logo; Wolverine rocks Asics Gel Lyte 3's with a split tongue to mimic his boot shape; and Ironman is outfitted with a red and gold mask that mimics the Maison Martin Margiela couture masks.
Individually numbered and signed prints from the series are available for purchase online.
