The opening of Andy Warhol's Time Capsules is something that most of us will never get to experience. There have been times when the capsule opening has been streamed live, but even those rare opportunities aren't as good as being able to study and sort through the materials yourself. Unless you are studying to become one of the lucky ones you physically get to touch Warhol's stuff, your best bet would be to use this interactive tool provided by the Andy Warhol Museum.

The online exhibition allows users to see the contents of Time Capsule 21. From a photo of Debbie Harry to newspaper clippings, each item is thoroughly described by its subject and condition and cataloged. The feature also gives organizes the materials and provides more information about the artist and the project. Click here to see what kinds of things Warhol included in this one of 612 capsules.
