A short while ago, we took a look at Amirah Kassem's "C.R.E.A.M. (Cakes Rule Everything Around Me)" art exhibition at Wallplay and we mentioned that it would be a part of the "WU HA" show in honor of Wu-Tang Clan's 20th Anniversary. Other artists involved in the show include Erik Foss, SOLO RM, Tom Sachs, Mark Drew, Lina Viktor, and Boris Bernard. Works range from photographs, to paintings, sculptures, and a billboard tribute to ODB that hangs outside to welcome fans to the gallery.
During Arts Basel Miami Beach, WU HA and Smile Design Gallery held an official Wu-Tang 20th Anniversary Event. Larry Gagosian and Eli Klein provided art for sale from various artists including Liu Bolin, Mr. Brainwash, and RETNA. Ghostface and N.O.R.E performed, Fab 5 Freddy and Scram Jones played sets, and Hebru Brantley, Angela Simmons, and various other big names stopped by to show their support.
